“Caregiver Survival Tips” Good Shepherd Hospice is presenting “Caregiver Survival Tips” on Wednesday October 27, 2010 at the Sayville Library, located at 88 Greene Avenue in Sayville. The presentation, which starts at 7:00 pm, is an hour and a half long seminar for caregivers. Good Shepherd Hospice Social Workers Felice Brand and Mary Ann Stein will discuss the emotional and physical issues the caregiver faces and offer tips on how to care for you by preventing and dealing with stress. They will also touch on resources available in the community to assist with this very demanding role.
